Lot 3003		1925 Stone Mountain Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67. Deeply toned in olive-brown on the obverse; the reverse is more orange-brown in color. Accompanied by the original cardboard holder of issue from the New York Committee at the Hotel Roosevelt, which was one of the marketing arms for these coins. The holder has spaces for five coins. The holder is torn and has a piece missing from the upper left corner, but it is very rare and valuable even in its present condition. Lot 3004		1925 Stone Mountain Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. Here is an awesome Stone Mountain that is a candidate for *Finest Known*. Although this issue is a relatively common coin, a coin of this magnitude is decidedly not so! This coin is razor-sharp with immaculate pristine surfaces. What makes this coin so spectacular is the winning combination of natural colors in hues of gold, violet and blue. Lot 3008		1935-D Texas Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. This stunning gem has developed some of the loveliest toning ever found on a Texas Commemorative Half Dollar. In addition, the obverse is unusual in being prooflike instead of having the usual satin luster. Moreover, the strike is so sharp you could easily mistake the coin for a presentation piece as if it had been struck twice by the dies instead of once. We recommend this coin heartily to the specialist who wants something fabulous to spruce up a type set or a complete 144 piece date and mintmark set. In an older NGC holder. Population of 118 with only 3 higher by a point. We do not see how a finer example could exist. Also take into consideration that this example is in an older NGC holder, before the star designation, and with a population of only 20 with none graded higher (3 with the star) this majestic specimen is in contention for *"Finest Known"* .
